I added a few new criteria including easy extensibility, a templating system that won’t prevent integration of a WYSIWYG HTML editor in the future, a smooth workflow with Git and our new cloud infrastructure. One of my hopes is that using a static site generator will make it easier for Avtar to allow people to spin up VMs and support their own sites on our cloud.
