Hello everyone,
I edited the Fluid
accessibility<http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Fluid+accessibility>page
and invite further corrections and comments. Jan was kind enough to
edit the page and
had some helpful comments. I would be happy if the page is changed to
reflect the position of the ATRC and Fluid on accessibility.
I added a Excel spread sheet to the Wiki page that should help to enhance
the QA test scenarios for each Fluid component in order to
check for WCAG 2.0 compliance of our components during each QA cycle. This
spreadsheet stems from a document provided by Sam.
Alison then created the spread sheet, which was used by Alison and me to
identify relevant WCAG sections for the QA test of the Uploader.
During the review of the WCAG enhanced QA test
plan<http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Uploader+QA+test+plan+with+WCAG>(I
will have to fix a couple of things) of the Uploader with Justin we
realized that some things will be difficult to check.
The issue that we talked about today is that of colour blindness and related
contrast issues. I thought it would be good to make all developers
and designers aware of this issue. There are a couple of tools that can help
to identify contrast issues early on.
There are two websites that help to check for the contrast issues of
foreground and background colours.

There is also a tool that can be used to view webpages in a way that
reflects different modes of colour blindness. This might be a tools that
could help also during the QA cycle.

I hope some of these tools are helpful for you to make decisions on colour
schemes. All comments and suggestions are more than welcome.
Armin
