VULab Login Page Improvement

With JohnC's new design on all pages, and the signup.php patch being  
send around for review, I wanted to get the Login page improvement out  
there as well..

Here we can see a small change to a dirty function that enables  
JohnC's design to be presented on the Login Screen as well.

- Note, that I did not separate the Logic from the View, as this is a  
bigger task that I may or may not tackle later (depending on the  
direction that vulab takes)
