Thanks, Justin.

Very interesting topic, and I loved the examples. Many of the techniques
seem appealing to me in designing interactive experiences for kids with
sensory integration issues.

I can also imagine translating some of the ideas achieved with 3D printing
to work with other maker technologies such as CNC and laser cutting (used
in some of the examples Emilia shared). This would expand the range of
materials without greatly increasing the cost.

Something like the Cricut also seems interesting, in that you could cut
precise overlays of textured materials (fabrics, sandpaper), which would
nicely compliment something like a laser-cut design. The maths are a
little trickier for overlaying on 3d surfaces, but it's still something I
could imagine someone designing and sharing for others to reproduce.

Anyway, thanks for sharing/fixing the links, and thanks to Emilia for the
presentation.

Cheers,

Tony
