Hi All,

On the following wiki page you will find information and wireframes showing some early work putting preference discovery and exploration into the context of self-assessment in a learning environment. Much of our preference editing tool design work has focused on how to introduce users to the concept of setting preferences, and how to help them discover preferences that work best for them. In order for a learner to determine what is really working for them, an additional element of self-reflection can provide a way for them to define and determine their success on a one-size-fits-one basis.

The wireframes shown on the following page provide a starting point for a way to incorporate self-reflection into the learning process, by encouraging the learner to consider what is working for them, and by helping them make a connection between preference setting and learning progress.

Your feedback is welcome.

Thanks,

Dana
