Wiki for IDI site

As a follow-up to yesterday's public forum (http://inclusivedesign.ca/public-forum-design-of-public-spaces-in-the-built-environment/), Jutta has asked that we set up a wiki space that can be used to post the notes from the forum and invite attendees to edit, discuss, etc. She would like this wiki linked to from the IDI site (and from the IDRC site).

We have wanted to create an official IDI wiki space, so it makes sense to do this now. I'm going to start by suggesting that we use MediaWiki (though I'm certainly open to arguments for other options): MediaWiki is open source; we have experience with it from the Handbook; it now comes out-of-the-box with a pseudo-wysiwyg editor that – while not actually wysiwyg – will make it easier for non-techy folks to edit pages.

I would suggest that we proceed by getting an instance up with the basic look-and-feel (with minor adjustments to the logo, tag lines, etc.) so that we can follow-up on the forum with reasonable promptness, and then as we have time, work on a more 'proper' IDI theme that will mesh better with the look and feel of the site. We can set up a dev version alongside the public version and work on it in github, as we did for the IDI site.

Thoughts?
