We are beginning an effort to revamp our documentation on how to create accessible web sites. We have a number of pages on our wiki related to this; We want to clean them up, update them, etc.

A key part of this effort will be identifying and referencing some of the great resources that are already available on the web. We're calling on the knowledge and experience of the community, and asking: What's your favourite resource for how to create accessible web sites?

One example would be the DHTML Style Guide Working Group's recommendations for keyboard shortcuts to be used in website widgets:

What other resources do you know of? What do you recommend to people? What are your favourite tutorials, references, guidelines, etc.? We're looking for practical techniques that developers can incorporate into their mindset and workflow.

If you have suggestions or comments, please contribute to this thread on the mailing list. We'll be compiling the recommendations, filling in gaps and creating what we hope will be a useful starting point that can lead people to everything they need to know to create accessible websites.
