Extending UIOptions with new controls

In case anyone is curious what it takes to add new controls to UIOptions right now, I've pushed a small demo to my github repo, in the FLUID-4145-instructionalDemos branch, in the demos/instructional folder:

(look for files with "added controls" in their names)

This branch is up-to-date with the master repo as of about noon today.
