Adobe Connect audio problems - possible fix

For those of you who have problems with unusually quiet audio / microphone
recording in the new OCAD Adobe Connect room, try the following:

1. Go to the Meeting menu at the top.
2. Select "Manage My Settings"
3. Select "Audio Setup Wizard"
4. Run through the wizard.
5. If your recorded audio is unusually quiet during the setup wizard, select
the "Advanced Settings" button on the last step (aka. "Finished!" step) of
the wizard
6. Uncheck "Use Enhanced Audio". (See attached file:

7. Press OK.

Run through steps 1 to 4 again. Hopefully your audio should be much louder.

If that fails, try the following as well:

8. Go to the Meeting menu at the top.
9. Select "Manage My Settings"
10. Select "Select Camera"
11. "Adobe Flash Player Settings" dialog appears.
12. Select the greyed out microphone tab along the bottom of the dialog.
13. Select the microphone you want to use from the "Microphone" menu. (See

14. Adjust the "Record Volume" to 100%.
15. Uncheck Reduce Echo.
16. Close.

Re-run the setup wizard in steps 1 through 4 to see if the recording volume
has improved.
