Last Friday, we held our second Documentation Sprint, and our first "theme-based" sprint, focussing on Framework documentation. Many thanks to everyone who participated - we made some great strides!
Here's a summary of what was accomplished:
Jess wrote a page about how Infusion helps with design
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=24936908
Mike wrote a page about our new graded components, as well as documentation for two of the grades:
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Component+Grades
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/fluid.initLittleComponent%28%29
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/fluid.initView%28%29
Justin worked on describing Event Boiling
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/docs/Event+injection+and+boiling
Harris added more information to our growing FAQ
fluid.demands(): http://wiki.fluidproject.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=24936994
fluid.defaults(): http://wiki.fluidproject.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=24937041
Heidi spent some time working on our "Hello World" tutorial
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Creating+a+Component
I wrote some documentation about the new createOnEvent
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/docs/Controlling+The+Timing+of+Subcomponent+Creation
and got a start on trying to document the new options that can be used to configure a graded component:
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Component+Configuration+Options
If you have any comments on the process, or suggestions for improvement, please let me know. These sprints are proving to be so useful that we're going to make them a regularly-scheduled event, every two weeks.
