Thanks a lot for your feedback and the link to Michelle's code review!

Yes, the idea was to have a bug parade standalone version in order to be able to load the data from a local test file. You're right of course, your approach of sticking to one html file makes more sense. I am already updating the component according to your suggestions and will provide a new patch ASAP.
