Hey Everett,

Wicked feedback. Keep it coming.

Safari unfortunately seems to have no support for live regions, both on the iPhone and on the desktop. Any of our status messages should indeed use aria-live for the future, and I think we should be careful about some of the timed animations we use with those messages.

In the meantime, I guess the only affordance you get with VoiceOver that an artifact has been successfully collected is the fact that the button's label changes to "Uncollect." I imagine, though, that this is very noticeable?
