Good morning,
What follows is some very preliminary accessibility feedback on the
Exhibitions page using VoiceOver on an iPhone 3g S.
1. There is a "Toggle" link at the top of the page, I have no idea
what this toggles.
2. There are several linked images with no description.
3. The Names and dates of each exhibit are separate links, this makes
me think that I am looking at two different possible URLS.
4. The second confusion about using two different links for the
exhibition title and date is that part way through the list a screen-
reader user can forget which comes first, not knowing the relationship
between the two pieces of data.
5. In Firefox the H2 "Upcoming (2)" is recognized as a Tab. This does
not happen with Safari on the iPhone and VoiceOver.
6. It is confusing to use a taxonomy (like a tab labeled "Upcoming")
to categorize the exhibits lower on the page when the exhibits higher
on the page are not categorized. What category do the above exhibits
fit into?
Being Irish O'Quebec

7. "Catalog 103" is not meaningful to me as a user.
8. Several unlabeld linked icons on this page.
9. No understanding of what "Thermometer" and "Barometer" mean.
10. I believe Sambhavi pointed this out, but VoiceOver pronounces
"Guestbook" as "GooseBook". Funny, but unhelpful.
