ENGAGE-179 - image reorderer and browse component

Hi Laurel,

I think I found a way to fix this issue - the problem seems to be that 
the reorderer code gets executed before the rendering code.

To make this Jira more useful I've posted my failing code and directions 
on how to reproduce the error.
