font sizes on new website

+1 for Verdana.
The font size issue was more apparent when I viewed the site from my
laptop (13" 1280x800) ...
Verdana is a great suggestion, it's clean and improves readability.
I'm redesigning the home page so that it can be stretched with
different news item (currently confined to the "flap" images). The
mockup uses Verdana as well (with optional Fluid flower background)
