Hello all,

James and I just had a meeting to talk about next week's events (
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Draft+Agenda). As you can see, we
have a *Museum context Design Team "workshop"* from 9 am to 12 pm on
Tuesday.

That's 3 hours to gather as much information and feedback as possible!

Here's a first draft for organizing the session (very tight):

1. *Start with brainstorming*. (30 minutes) Each member will have a sheet of
paper to write 10/12 ideas. If they want to, they should write their names
on the paper. Afterwards, we will break into smaller groups to choose the
best ideas of each group. *We will do the affinity diagram later on, maybe
on Wednesday? And get it back to them but we thought it would be too
time-consuming to do it on the spot. *

2. *UCD presentation*. (10 minutes) What is UCD, process and steps,
deliverables. Introduce the concepts of personas, scenarios, wireframes,
lofi prototypes, etc. And the main steps: user requirements, design
iteratively, evaluate.

3. *Write up a museum visitor or exhibit designer persona*. (30 minutes)
Break into small groups and define a persona (visitors or museum staff).

4. *Mapping: brainstorming and scenarios*. (30 minutes) Show them our
brainstorming results for the mapping and the scenarios we've come up with.
*What would be the best way to get feedback in such a short amount of time?*

5. *IPhone: scenarios, wireframes, mabye prototype*. (30 minutes) Show them
our work with the mobile space. *Again, what is the best way to get feedback
from them?*

6. *Getting back to the wider picture*. We are working on the mapping and
mobile space, are we missing key points? What else should we consider for
this first year of FluidEngage?

7. *Must reads*. It would be awesome to get their lists of articles, papers,
websites, books, etc. that they consider a "must-read".

8. *Next steps* for the design team and their feedback is needed! *How can
we get it? Maybe sending them surveys? Phone calls? etc. Get their feedback
on this.

*
We can use part of tomorrow's design meeting to talk about this but we
thought it would be interesting to start thinking and defining next week's
session asap.

Please, feel free to add, comment, edit!

Muriel
