Hi,

Armin and I are tackling FLUID-2652, which addresses Simple Inline
Edit's accessibility to screen readers. We're trying to find a
solution that does not rely solely on ARIA, as older screen readers
are still widely used and don't support this new standard.

For the meantime, we're hoping to address the issue by getting a more
fine grained understanding of how a variety of screen readers work
with this component.
I've just added this page to the wiki, which will guide us in
evaluating the accessibility of the component and patches to the
component.
