I see we've added a link to the design handbook to this page: http://fluidproject.org/index.php/fluid-design-handbook
, but it's a little lost among the other larger links (e.g. Persona
Library) which are headers. What about also making the "Fluid Design
Handbook" header on this page a link?
Conversely, I think it would be helpful to make Personas, UX
Walkthroughs, etc. links on this page: http://fluidproject.org/index.php/products
.
One final thought about keeping the icons above the fold. If the News
will often be longer than the short announcement we see on the home
page now, we may want to consider either a) making into more of a
right sidebar, as news is often presented or b) just using titles for
the news items with "More" links. If the News section is much longer
than the "Fluid is" section, the page will look unbalanced. A somewhat
more radical idea would be to move the icons to the top of the page,
right under the top nav. But I think it may be confusing to have two
major navigational methods right next to each other.
One final comment I'd forgotten to make before about the "Fluid is"
section on the home page. I think it would be clearer that the header
leads into the text below if we had the paragraph below it begin with
"...", e.g. "...that builds user interfaces."
Nice work everyone!
