Date Picker Show & Tell Part 2

As has already been pointed out, one of the trickiest aspects of time 
and date picking is internationalization.  People in different countries 
have adopted different conventions, and it's often hard to find 
unambiguous compromises.  For a Wikipedia article discussing  a number
