Apologies for the delay in responding to this thread. The idea of more
freeform authoring tools in Sakai is really exciting. It's also great
to hear your enthusiasm for Fluid's component approach and how we can
collaborate with the work being done on OSP.

Coordination and resources are always a challenge. As a starting
point, I'd encourage you to continue to follow and participate in our
ongoing mailing list discussions. As you saw from the conference,
we're delving into new component design and development work related
to file management. Since this will be an even more collaborative
effort than the Lightbox/Reorderer, we're going to be discussing a lot
of the design work here on fluid-work.
We won't get to many of the cool potential components we've
identified right away, so there's a very concrete opportunity to
collaborate. If you're interested in features like the "click to edit"
component, we'd love to have help in designing and building it.
Let me know if there's a way I can help facilitate this collaboration.
