The jQuery team has let it leak that there will be a new release of
jQuery on the 17th and a new release of jQuery.UI on the 18th. These
are both being billed as:

Both releases will be mainly bug fixes. No new features will be included
in jQuery. jQuery UI may include some new stuff but it's primary goal is
ensuring full cross-browser compatibility and bug fixes. [emphasis
added by me]

Given that the 1.2.1 release of jQuery was a bit cavalier in it's
support for Safari, and the current version of jQuery.UI cavalier
with everyone, this should be a release to watch.

I wonder if it's too late to try to get the 1.2 series of jQuery into
Sakai 2.5 as the base standard?
